Dr Payman has a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from the University of Queensland.
She moved to Sydney where she completed her Paediatric Specialist Training through the Sydney Children's Hospital Network. She settled in Canberra in 2010 where she has worked in the Canberra Paediatric Unit and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
She is experienced in the comprehensive assessment and management of paediatric medical issues but has a particular interest in the gastrointestinal system.
She has been a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians since 2011.
