Academic Appointments
Dr. Thomas Lam has qualified FRACS in both General Surgery and Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery and practises as a Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon. He is a Visiting Medical Officer (VMO) at the Westmead, Auburn & Bankstown Public Hospitals as well as the Westmead, SAN and Canada Bay Private Hospitals.He is a member of the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS). His other memberships include the Australasian Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS), International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS), International Society of Surgeons (ISS), Asian Surgical Association (ASA), Australian Medical Association (AMA), NSW Hand surgery Association (NSWHSA), Australia & New Zealand Head & Neck Society and corresponding member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.
