Dr Tanswell graduated from The University of NSW in 1990 and trained at Westmead Hospital and has been in private practice since 1999.
He has a broad interest in general adult medicine and cardiology and his special interests include echocardiography, coronary angiography and electrophysiology studies with particular emphasis in the diagnosis and management of arrhythmias. Dr Tanswell holds Visiting Medical Officer positions at The Sydney Adventist Hospital, Wahroonga, The Hills Private Hospital, Baulkham Hills and the Mater Misericordiae Hospital, Crows Nest. He holds Fellowship of The Royal Australian College of Physicians and The Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand.
