Omar grew up in New Zealand with his brother and four sisters. He obtained his general obstetrics and gynaecology training in Auckland, where he worked at Middlemore Hospital, the largest women's health hospital in the Southern Hemisphere. There, he gained extensive experience in the management of high-risk pregnancies as well as complex gynaecological conditions.
In 2008, Omar moved to Sydney, where, at the renowned St Vincent's Hospital, he completed his fellowship in advanced laparoscopic surgery and urogynaecology (treatment of bladder incontinence and prolapse).
Over the years, Omar has lived and worked in various parts of the world. His mission is to care for the mind, the body and the spirit of each patient. He strives to provide patients with all the available safe solutions to their medical conditions and help them make a well-informed decision that is in their best interest.
