Academic Appointments

Associate Professor Hogg is a Gynaecologist and Gynaecologic Oncologist. In addition to a Fellowship in Obstetrics and Gynaecology he has completed three years of advanced training in the treatment of gynaecological cancer. This provided him with additional expertise in bowel, urinary tract and laparoscopic surgery in the treatment of gynaecological conditions.

Associate Professor Hogg is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and is an accredited specialist in Gynaecological Oncology.

As well as an area wide appointment at the Sydney West Area Health Service, he consults with Specialist Services at the Sydney Adventist Hospital and Norwest Private Hospital.

Associate Professor Hogg has a particular interest in complex laparoscopic surgery, management of women at high risk of gynaecological cancer, fertility-sparing treatments for gynaecological cancer, the biology of ovarian cancers and multidisciplinary care for women with gynaecological cancer
